Carolina Ascencion 艾灩蓮
My name is Carolina Ascencion, I am a foreign student. I participate in the summer camp because of the invitation of a friend, and I am truly thankful for this opportunity. When I got to the camp I was concerned that my Chinese will not be good enough to take care of kids. However I realized quickly that it did not matter since all there was always someone there ready to help me. The other team leaders were very nice, and even if they could not speak English well they will try their best to talk to me or help me. The kids, who were my biggest concern, were very cute and soon understood that I was a foreigner and could not speak well Chinese, but it did not matter to them I think, in the end we still got to communicate with each other. I did not expect to have that much fun when I joined the camp. This was an amazing experience for which I am grateful.
